Cruise the Ozarks combines my love of photography, motorcycling, writing and sharing the Ozarks with others. My goal is to provide a site where those who visit the Ozarks can find everything they need to make the most of their Ozark riding adventure.
• I have been riding motorcycles since I was a teenager and remember being hooked on motorcycles when Honda’s slogan “You meet the nicest people on a Honda” was a brand new advertising campaign (that’s 1962 for you enthusiasts out there younger than 45 years old).
Here’s a little information on myself.
• I have been worked in photography since I sold my first picture to the NW Arkansas Times newspaper in Fayetteville in 1975. Most of my employment over the years has involved photography in some manner since then. I currently teach photography at North Arkansas College in Harrison.
• I have photographed across the U.S. as well as in Europe and the Middle East.
Since 2000, I have written and photographed for several motorcycle magazines. I have produced numerous articles on New Mexico, Colorado, Louisiana, Wisconsin, Tennessee, North Carolina, Missouri and of course, Arkansas, for bike publications - of course, several have covered the Ozarks. My articles and photographs have appeared in RoadBike, Rider, Motorcycles: on the Road Again, and RideTexas.
• I love motorcycles and I know the Ozarks -- and I have the goal of making Cruise the Ozarks one of the best motorcycle websites in the U.S.
Warmest Regards,
David Bell
