You can stop by any of these 8 sponsors this week, starting on August 20, 2015, to pick up your official game card:
Rowdy Beaver Restaurant & Tavern in Eureka Springs, AR The regular "Clue Sponsors" will be on the "Clue Card" and the 'Hunt' part of the event will be to take the easy-to-solve clues and match them up with each advertiser/sponsor in our Issue #7 rider's guide, distributing early August. You may pick up the "Clue Cards" starting Thursday, August 20 and start finding the sponsors' businesses and have them stamp your card. Be sure to have the business where you pick up you card stamp your card too. 2015 Scavenger Hunt Rules• The game is played by reading the various clues on the Game Card. No purchase is required to participate. Extra tickets can be acquired through purchases made at participating sponsors of the Scavenger Hunt, however (see below for more details). After reading clue, look through the pages of the 'Cruise the Ozarks' Autumn 2015 Issue #7, and determine which clue has been written about which participating advertiser, what we call a Clue Sponsor. Not all advertisers are participating in the Scavenger Hunt. • Pick up game card at one of the Game Card Sponsors. Look back on this page frequently as Game Card Sponsors will be added as they come on board. Since some of the Game Card Sponsors may be on your way to Eureka Springs, you may want to pick yours up on your way. Be sure to have the Game Card Sponsors validate your Game Card when you pick them up as they also are Clue Sponsors, too. • For each clue you solve you will be awarded one ticket for the Grand Prize drawing. Determine which advertiser the clue is referring to and go to their place of business and have them stamp the appropriate box on your Game Card. These clue cards are free and no purchase is necessary. • How to get additional tickets for the drawing. One ticket will also awarded for each $10 (or part thereof) spent at a participating sponsor. Have a representative of the business, such as the clerk, innkeeper, cashier, waitress, or other official designated by the business, fill in how much was spent and sign and stamp in the appropriate box on the Game Card. Be sure to obtain and retain your receipts, as they may be required at time of drawing. • You will receive your drawing tickets August 22, 2015, when you turn in your Game Card after 6pm at Rowdy Beaver Restaurant and Tavern, Hwy 62 W, Eureka Springs the night of the party and the grand drawing. You must have Clue Sponsor stamp your game card when you visit their establishment and/or make a purchase. Game Cards must be signed and stamped to receive tickets. • Door prizes will be drawn for through out the event. Tickets will also be used to awarded these prizes. • Scavenger Hunt begins on Thursday, August 20 and ends at 6:00 PM sharp on Saturday, August 22. Scavenger Hunt begins on the opening of business on August 20 at each Clue Sponsor and Game Card Sponsor. Cards will not be available before that time. All Game Cards must be turned in by 6:00 PM at registration area at the host of the Biker Appreciation Weekend, Rowdy Beaver Restaurant & Tavern, located on US 62 West in Eureka Springs. • Prize Drawings Drawings for door prizes will begin at about 6:30 PM, exact time subject to change. Drawing for Grand Prize will be at 9:00 PM. In unlikely event that 2 or more identical ticket numbers are drawn. there will be a draw-off between holders of those matching tickets. • Must be present to win and have winning ticket in hand to be awarded any prize. Limit of 500 tickets per participant. Keep all your receipts to confirm total purchases. All drawings will take place at the Scavenger Hunt host, Rowdy Beaver in Eureka Springs, Hwy 62 West. • In case of disputes the decisions of the panel of judges will be final. • The rules posted at the start of the Scavenger Hunt on August 20th are the official rules and supercede all other postings. |
